Tools for scholars: interdisciplinarity is crucial in researching big tech platforms because it allows for a comprehensive understanding of their multifaceted impacts. By integrating perspectives from political science, economics, sociology, and technology studies, we can uncover the complex ways these platforms influence society. Recognising the value of interdisciplinary spaces for collaboration and learning between disciplines and scholars, the Think Tank will act as a research platform offering the following opportunities:

- Networking opportunities for researchers and innovators in order to strengthen capacity to address scientific, technological and societal challenges related to the big tech, fostering interdisciplinary research for breakthrough science.

- Educational opportunities tailored on the needs of early career researchers and PhD, who will have the opportunity to participate in an annual Summer School and discuss these topics with seniors’ scholars and topic’s experts.

Skills for policy makers: we advocate for policies and practices that promote democratic and sustainable governance in the digital age, ensuring that technological progress benefits all members of society. The module Digital just city is projected to support local institutions in addressing the digital challenges in public administrations and will be tailored to answer the needs of the local contexts.

Moreover, widespread awareness empowers communities to demand ethical practices and equitable benefits from technological advancements. Contents for the general public will be produced by the Think Tank to inform stakeholders about the latest trends and findings in technology and society. Whitin these contents, the Think Tank will produce:

- A quarterly newsletter offering news and updates about the activities of the Think Tank and the state of the art about the research on big tech platforms.

- The ‘ArTech Biennale’ on Arts, Visual Communication, and Research, an exposition tha will intertwine research and art thanks to a collaborative process between artists, researchers and curators to explore the state of the art on the digitalisation of urban spaces.
